As a designer, it’s deeply understanding the problems and goals and being constantly curious as you explore to find the solution. Sometimes it’s choosing different words. Sometimes it’s rearranging the order of information. Sometimes it’s relying on systems for consistency. Sometimes it’s knowing you need to break the rules to provide more clarity.
As a leader, it’s aligning the people on my team to the places the users and the business will benefit most from their skillsets. It’s building thoughtful relationships with peers and stakeholders to collaborate more effectively. It’s continuously curating a culture filled with rituals and practices that nurture the evolving needs of my teams.
